Description:
ABRS offers small grants to Honours, Masters and PhD students in Australian institutions who wish to travel to national or international conferences relevant to both the student’s research program in taxonomy or systematics and the ABRS Research Priorities.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be students currently enrolled in an Honours/Masters (including a research component) or PhD degree in the field of taxonomy or systematics at an Australian institution. The conference must be relevant to taxonomy or systematics and to the ABRS Research Priorities. Preference may be given to applicants who receive matching funds from their home institution or other source. Applicants may not apply retrospectively for travel to conferences they have already attended.

Amount awarded:
A maximum of $1000 is available for an international conference and $500 for travel within Australia.

Submission InstructionsApplicant must have obtained Supervisor’s signature when hand in the certification page for the Head of Administering Institution’s signature.  The signed certification page will be returned to the applicant for submission to ABRS.
